Did you watch until Huntress came along? Or Black Canary? These are both Arrow btw not Flash.


OT: Hell yeah Flash is one of the best on screen comic adaptations using real people yet. Finally a director who gets that fans of comics want to see comic like things in the shows/movies. If I wanted a realistic Batman I'd watch a delusional schizophrenic millionaire run down the street in his hooded pajamas, I watch Batman for the surrealism not the realism.

Huntress has 1 awesome episode then she fades out but Sarah"Black Canary"(as far as CW is concerned but that's for another time) becomes a pretty major player. Her sister Laurel ends up becoming a big part as well.

Not sure if you're joking, but I'll take it this way.
The thing is I don't really care about that so much, it's her character that's turning my stomach upside-down and make my ears bleeding the moment she's starting to talk.
But well, it's probably just me...

She's the typical damsel in distress in that she can't really do anything for herself yet she carries this aura about her that she thinks she's the most important part of everyone's life. She's one of those, always busy looking down her nose at someone soo she can't see/acknowledge her own faults, type of character.

I'm just going to say that I don't like the way she's written, as an useless b**ch, who opposes all the characters, get herself in trouble, and then needed to be saved as a consequence of her own stupidity.She just comes as a self-righteous whiner, a bore and a heap of other things...
She also doesn't seem to have any sort of chemistry with any character (not even the MC).

It doesn't really help that I don't like her as an actress either (but here I'm being really subjective, so yeah... Lol)

Typical damsel in distress? I am guessing you dont watch the show as Laurel has defended herself on numerous occasions. She has helped the arrow a bunch of times so she isnt useless either. She isnt about herself at all, she actually cares about everyone else.

Did you miss the part where she states she was responsible for Tommy's death? I dont see how she ignores her own faults.

So yeah none of that makes sense. Just sounds like random excuses.

She doesn't help him that much at all except prosecuting bad guys he catches. She tried to stand up for that girl and got knocked out, she's had to have Oliver save her a few times including from Brother Blood. She acts like Oliver shouldn't have been concerned about her when she turned into a pill junkie drunk. She was dismissive and belligerent to her father. Now she's playing this holier than thou because she came through it all and is trying to protect her father from finding out about Sarah when it's only gonna be worse for him the longer he doesn't know.

Just because you like the character and can ignore her flaws doesn't mean they don't exist. She got herself in numerous predicaments that required someone else to rescue her because she over-estimated her capabilities. She's finally starting to understand she can't stand up on her own and is letting Oliver help her emotionally and Wildcat(the boxer) help her physically. By the time the show does right and makes her Black Canary as she should have been from the start(honestly this show and it's fictional sisters I'll never understand but that's another issue) she'll be a strong character emotionally, mentally and physically.
