In Re: Arima's purpose was a ceiling meant to be shattered and once he has been surpassed other Q's like Urie will follow. An Arima that is no longer the pinnacle is just another investigator, so rather living through that, Arima will die XD

Arima as a investigator should not bother including such trivial things as emotions, but i do believe his actions do have human morals behind them. And yeah.... read Jack, unless you want to stick with those thoughts. You should probably check if kissanime got the OVA.

And tbh if V ordered it I am pretty sure that Arima would even kill Fura. I mean think about it. Arima is working for Ghouls, killing ghouls. He knows what V is about and he kills ghouls indiscriminately anyway

Most investigators think of Ghouls as monsters that eat people. Arima is working for people that sit around laughing while eating people and breeding (ghoul and possibly human) children for their own agendas. There are soooooooooo many investigators that have died trying to kill ghouls as part of V's plot.

Arima sticking to these people's orders means he not only doesn't care about the life of Ghouls who are basically people that were simply born with a biological condition, but also about his fellow officers who are out there risking their lives.

So yeah I think Arima is that bad, unless V is holding something he cares about hostage

Alright I watched it. Apparently Arima just doesn't care who he is working for. He simply kills ghouls enjoys aspects of his life that one would find normal, and just doesn't care about the overall picture. Someone like Arima doesn't care about who he is working for what he is doing, or what effect it has on the world, he just does his job.

Someone like that is insanely pure tbh :| kinda makes sense why he is the white reaper now. He doesn't even see Ghouls as people, just targets.

Killing off someone like that would be kinda cruel, not saying that Ishida won't do it. But I think the better alternative would be Arima getting crippled ending his days as an investigator. That would finally give him the normal life he has always wanted

Hopefully Ishida isn't as predictable as that, killing the most powerful character just because he's that powerful and stands against the protagonist and all, though it will probably happen. I don't want Arima to die so I'm betting on Ken sparing his life, just like how Arima spared his.
