People actually watcch boruto just for the OG old gen characters. but why? aren't u sick of them? there's 700 eps and chapters about them. It's time to move on and look into the new gen characters and their stories.

This is what i think like. I Genuinely with all my heart interested in the new gen characters . sarada shinki mitsuki kawaki KARA etc... i want to know what will the new gen deliver.

I'm for the new gen but the MC doesn't do it for many of us, you know my issues with him, how he's written and his story as whole so I won't repeat them. The other issue you have is while the old gen is alive and overpowered the new gen is second rate. If they were going to use the new gen then they should've found a way to remove Kurama from Naruto(goes down in the power scaling between Kakashi(no MS) and Jiraiya) and restrict Sasuke's Rinnegan to only Ameno (technically is) and possibly make him lose the other eye(enton and PS are gone). They would no longer overshadow the new gen and we'd have something to look forward to provided MC was replaced.

People want to see the old gen because the new gen don't have anything to offer, hype doesn't cut it.

Old gen cameos are the only thing that really keeps me interested.

At first I thought it was just team boruto but the power creep is insane and dumps all over the other Naruto series

Everyone has crazy powers they didn't have to work for and it's annoying. Even Cho Cho can casually bust out butterfly mode.


The whole point of Naruto to me was overcoming hardships and boruto characters have no real struggles at all.


Plus 26 chapters in boruto still feels like a fanmade character.

Not every character from Naruto got to fight much or not at all, so it is good to see them fight in Boruto. We want to see the improvement which the character has made over the years.

Take Sasuke he was new to his Rinnengan, so he couldn’t absorb and attack at the same time.

Tobi was badass one of the best characters of part 2.

Nope, in my thread i explained that Kashin is Jiraiya's son. He will get tnj'd by Naruto. Naruto will tell Kasshin everything he should know about Jiraiya, his life, his dreams, everything. This will convince KK that ninjas aren't evil, but Kara is.
