Are your parents racists? Or self-hating?

Yeah right

I’m okay to admit my parents are racists. And I’m pretty sure they white worship females. At least my mother does. Colorist mentality is strong. Just by the words they use, they prefer light skin women over dark.

So what about your family?

Have you adopted the same beliefs?

I haven’t. Thank goodness.

How is preferring lightskins self-hating? Either you're implicating that they shouldn't have preferences at all, which is to say they shouldn't take any specific sexual attractions, or that they should prefer their own color, which would be racist according to your logic. My family is pretty racist against whites though, hell, blacks too. They're just racist but not really to an extreme extent.

It’s not that hare to understand. And it’s not hypocritical or anything. They can like whomever. But, to push one one feature to your child is wrong.

But if you accept, “white is right, always” that’s fine. Just don’t push that belief to others who haven’t decided.

Of course they are my father even killed couple Catholics. He hates Muslims too.
That's not racist, I don't think he hated them because of their ethnicity.

OT: Everybody loves their family or their own more than others that's natural not racist. Even liking another or preferring another isn't really racist, however you seem to come across as if you have underlying racist tendendices. You should check yourself, this isn't healthy and you'll always end up blaming others for your own shortcomings.

Just out of curiosity do you see it as equally wrong of dark skinned parents who push anti-light skinned ideas onto their children?

Well yeah. It’s literally the same just the other way around. How would I not be against that?
It was the way you phrased the start, you said your parents had a preference to light skin and that you hadn't inherited that preference to which you stated "thank god" which made it seem that you are pro dark skin and it just seemed odd you were calling them out for their preference when your words made it seem you had a preference as well just the opposite. So I was a bit curious is it the preference or the pushing of that preference that you had issue with?

As for the how, a lot of people do a lot of mental gymnastics to justify conflicting ideals I was just curious where you fell.
