No, i eventually experimented light drugs, i consume alcohol, specially beer and vodka in parties, and i have an active sexual life, but i'm not promiscuous. It is never how the media portray. When i was younger i was more in that kind of life, i partied hardly, traveled a lot, dated a lot, etc... etc... now it got boring, but anyway, i'm not someone dumb, i can say i've met a lot of people on my life, had lived more wildely, intensely and have less prejudice and more experiences than a lot of people, that's it.
I'm behind you on the self-conscious thing. I get real emotional when I drink for some reason. People tell me I turn into Drake when around alcohol. XD
i think that depend on the person personality. Maybe you are not an "alcohol person". When i use marijuana i'm like that too. I almost never have a good trip, but with alcohol i get wilde. Also, that can be that unconsciously you feel guilty or bad for drinking.
That said, if you get depressed when high, obviously there's no reason for consuming alcohol.
