Of course NOT.. this system/socio-economic society we live in, makes you feel like you are, but realistically? NOPE.
We are all slaves to debt.

I'm not in debt so I am a slave to no one =D

However people do owe me debt.... does that mean I am a slaveholder?

- this put aside -

Slaveholder? "that's a big/harsh word in your case but in some sense you can call it like that"; why? Because, I'm 100% sure when you lend money, one day or another you want to see that money back. And if somehow the borrower can't pay you back; What will you do? etc... Well, you gonna have to take necessary actions. How? That's up to you. Of course, who's at fault? You? The borrower? NOPE, it's system we live in that creates such thing. But your case is a minor and trivial thing. If you look at the bigger picture, the scale of a country, if this certain country has a debt; you are the slave who's gonna pay for it.

Either way, you're saying you have no debt? Then you're lying! You still have to pay taxes etc.. But all depends on where you live. Anyway, I assume you have a job already.
