I don't hate Twilight. But my genetic makeup does not really allow me to understand why women like it so much. Sure I understand, but I don't connect.

This means, I'm a guy.

I read the first book, so I can at least constructively criticize it from a non-woman perspective. I found some of the things in it kind of over-the-top creepy if not borderline stalker-ish.

I did not get any farther than the first book and have no interest in the rest of the series.

I agree or won't argue with you on other counts, but being mainstream isn't a good reason to dislike something. If you like something, then who gives a shit?

my twilight knowledge comes from the first 30 minutes of the first film, i got fed up and watched something else. not sure what all the fuss is about really. at any rate, it seems that twilight has the lamest vampires of all fiction, so i'll never watch one again. underworld or van helsing, that's what vampires and werewolves should be like.

Hmmm I've read all the books and I've seriously liked them. People hate on Stepjanie Meyer but there is nothing wrong with producing such a love story... I seriously don't like the sparkling in the sun sh*t though. That;s just gay. I mean wtf dude! Couldn't they have just burnt like all other normal vampires. Anyways can't change that.

I genuinely hate the acting... 1st up on the list as all of you may have guessed is Stewart, Patterson falls in second, which is bad because both of them are the main characters, and then we have the directors doing what they always do, f-ing around with the storyline. Conclusion the movies suck, I haven't seen the latest one though, I'm told it's kick-a**. Waiting with baited breath,

Tried to read the books, couldn't manage the first chapter - found it boring. Watched the films before I tried to read the books and hated the fact that vampires were represented in the way that they were. I really hate the films and books.

The story has been told numerous times before and for some reason it's always mega popular.Teen girl falls in love with a good-natured vampire boy ( who is over 100 years old so he's actually an old man, kinda perverse if you ask me ). Their relationship has problems 'cause of he's vampire past , someone is always hunting them, but she also has everyday high school problems blah, blah,blah...I could be describing Twilight, but I could also be describing 20 years old Buffy The Vampire Slayer or maybe it's The Vampire Diaries. I'm sure will have another one of these same plot hits which make teenage girls and some boys crazy, in about 10 years or so when everyone's forgotten about Twilight U_U

I read all the books, and I hate them. Beyond hate. Twilight makes my blood boil. Oh my goodness, it's so horrible... I went through a phase where I was highlighting all things incorrect in the first book. I was hell bent on finishing it and sending it to Stephenie Meyer. Obviously I didn't finish it, but now I have the first book filled with corrections and annotations Oh! I could also tell a person why/how the Twilight books are horrible. Such as problems in the plot and all that fun stuff. I like to call myself an informed Twilight hater

I didn't watch any movie after the first. I couldn't. I watched all of the first movie and I haaated it. I only saw it because it was a date (a horrible one, might I add. Never take a girl to see Twilight). I tried watching the second one and the others with my mother but I couldn't. So horrible, so so horrible. Horrible books. I can't say much about the second, third, and fourth (part one and two) because I didn't watch them. All I will say is that Taylor Lautner is one fiiiiiiiine guy...without the long hair.

I haven't seen it, and I really don't desire to see it. I can't say anything about the series itself but I can't stand hearing about it all the time from various people or media outlets.

They took the cool and ruthless out of vamps and werewolves and replaced it with sparkly skin and...well, just dogs..O_O
