Never read the book, watched some of the movies---They're OK but nothing special...You're right - obsessed teen girls and all the trendy haters combined make the series much more popular than it truly deserves.

Mostly don't care for it. Genuinly think the story has a decent to good storyline (at least the later books appear to have better stories as I've only seen the first one). Anyways I simply despise the face that Vampires don't burn in sunlight in this series....they sparkle?!! Dafuq is that crap! It has always been and should be that the Vampire burns in sunlight unless they use a charm or SPF 5,000! Also, the Werewolves depicted in twilight act more like shapeshifters who change their form at will where a werewolf transforms on the full moon regardless of will and cannot remember what happens....although I admit this form of werewolf is an interesting change even if it goes against the deffinition of the style.

Unfortunately, I have seen every Twilight movie so far :| I, with an innate and sinister hatred, loath the romanticism of all of the movies. To be honest, I don't even know why I take away from my time to sit down with my mom and watch them, I just do. I don't hate them but I definitely do not like them. The movies aren't half bad IMO, but like you said, they shouldn't be getting the attention they get just because there's a puppy-love triangle between a scumbag vampire, a horny werewolf and a girl with a speech impediment.

Idk what to vote for because I hated the first one when I saw it, I liked the 2nd and 3rd one they were good but shouldnt be so popular and I never saw any of the other ones but the new one coming out looks really really stupid so for the series as a whole I suppose I'm between genuinely disliking it and thinking its good but shouldn't be so popular.

I genuinely hate it.
The acting is bad, the story itself is bad, the characters are one-dimensional and unrealistic, and the concept of vampires has been tarnished by crappy stories like this.

I don't understand how anyone could enjoy it, but I guess everyone is free to their own opinion. xd

well i had watch many vampire movies, twilight is like the worsth interpretation of vampires that i had ever seen. just coulndt handle twilight. but is cool for kids. must of them have not seen many vampire related thing. so they saw twilight..

overall is not for me.

but that movie is good for selling purpose. has quantity over quality.
