Are you more likely to adopt a male or female pet?

In my lifetime, I have had three female cats, two male cats, one male dog, one female dog, and a female rabbit. My female pets have always been better behaved than the male pets. I would say that I am more likely to adopt a female pet, but I wish all of the animals at shelters could be adopted.

I don't care about gender when it comes to cats. But I'd over-think it twice if I wanted to get a male dog.

Male dogs. They usually get into more trouble so they're more fun. They're also less needy attention wise in my experience.
