Are you more Fight driven or Story driven?

Story all the way, that's why One Piece is my fav. series of all time lol. Fights is cool but story always triumphs for me.

i don't mean to bash in any way, but the story in one piece is actually why i can't get into it.

for me, the story has to be intriguing, and the characters have to have a meaning, and the story has to have a valuable lesson.

however, old fights are always good, and add a lot more entertainment to a series.

The story obviously has to be better than action - which happens to be the reason I hate Naruto, AgK, DBZ, etc. Doubt anyone is gonna unironically give you the opposite answer; as in, they prefer the action over the story. Although, people who watch shit for action and don't give a shit whether the story is good or not exist, no one is gonna admit that.

Well, I don't read much action manga so I'm obviously more interested in the story, however, I'm not that interested in characters - I like horror and mystery plots that can sometimes be just descriptions of the universe and events in it. So I wouldn't be interested in a slice of life/romance story, for example.
