Are you keeping up with the Boruto manga? Why or why not?

I tried to give it a chance, I really did, but I'm done. I read the first (maybe second? I don't remember) chapter and I didn't like it at all. Obviously it's just a re-telling of the Boruto movie right now, but I don't like how Konoha was destroyed again and how Boruto was already grown up on the first page of the first chapter. I would've preferred to see them all as Genin and repeat the Chunin exams. Then go on various adventures like the second half of Naruto part 1 (yes, the fillers). I'll just stick to reading One Piece weekly and I think that the Boruto movie was a nice way to end the series anyway.



Anyway, what does Narutobase think?

I watched as much of the movie as I could bare. And read as much of the first chapter as I could bare. Not really worth keeping up with in my opinion I could care less about Boruto.

Hopefully something interesting happens that will peek my interest.

It has already lost my interest. With the huge gaps of time and all of them up to now repeating an already boring movie (except Sasuke's fight at the beginning--wish that went on longer) my intrigue is gone. I just don't care about it nowadays.

Actually yes because even tho I do read the manga I only read past half the manga but I want to know the story bit by bit(if you understand what I'm saying) overall the drawing is sooooooo badddd this artist needs too stop drawing like this it's like hes drawing for the fun of it. Either way it's a good story told different a lil. In the end i just hope himawari makes the uzumaki look strong cause boruto does a lil no disrespect it just himawari seems she's has more potential. I just like equality in the end. But if both can do so much good well then it'll be dope but as always that won't happen cause the studio don't like to put in work more like let's do this quik

The art is filler but the story is half canon :lol
I would preferred Kishi write his script down and sell us and lets our imagination works on it, rather than seeing something that is totally different than what i was expected.

I'm not interested in the Boruto series at all, at least as of now. All they did was take the K11 pre-Shippuden and give them the same personalities, the same techniques, and slightly different appearances. Choji's daughter: fat and only interested in food. Lee's son: overzealous trainer. Shikamaru's son: lazy kid. Boruto: stubborn and uses a Rasengan. We've had all of this before. Why are we getting the same thing?
