Lots of savants agree: Happiness is an impossible condition for any human being in this Earth
Do you agree with this general sentence? Could you define yourselves happy? If not, do you have a sort of plan to reach happiness?

Happiness is possible but it seems a good chunk won't help to achieve it.

I am not, I need solitude to be myself and thus happy, but I am forced to deal with you humans in day-to-day life because 'living' requires it. Though I am using the word 'happy' lightly, there are states you can be in that are worse and better then happiness or sorrow.

Easy stuff bruh :D thanks anyway

For me, happiness only happens once in a while.

This is the main problem, I was wondering about a long range happiness..

Savants have only a detailed view from one angle.

Well said. Plus, you can't claim to know perfectly the humans if you pass your days on a table, studying alone.

I understand your point. Maybe happiness will come to you when you'll learn to stay well with others. who knows

I've read that happiness comes from the thoughts we chose to have, so I guess that means I've chosen to be miserable.

For me it's like a split second of bliss that quickly fades away.

To me happiness is the great memories you've created in the past and the probability to make more great memories in the future.

I'm happy when I can do stuff that I like and enjoy doing, or whenever I can be of use to others, or just in general be productive. So, to me happiness is strongly connected to activity. (Which is close to Aristotle's definition: happiness= virtuous activity through one's whole life). It's another question I get easily frustrated when some people don't let me be doing my everyday stuff ._.

Well, there are two definitions of happiness to me.

#1 "Surface-happiness"
I have this kind of temporary happiness a lot.
For example, today. I got two beautiful "Legend of Korra" artbooks, which made me happy. Otherwise I have this feeling when I watch a good video, play an exciting game or eat delicious food. But this kind of happiness doesn't last long.

#2 "deep-down-inside-happiness"
This kind of happiness is what I consider "real happiness". It's created by being with good friends, while experiencing love and being with family. And I haven't felt that for a long time.
