smart phones are addictive indeed but it makes our life better <3

how does my iphone improve my quality of life? it only makes you less dependent of others and i'm not sure if that's a good thing.

OT: the problem does not lie with this generation.. there is just a huge difference between smart and dumb people.. and now that everyone is allowed to vote/use the internet/get free food- it is indeed messing up mankind. it would be more suitable to blame human empathy and the need of a government to please the dumb so that they can get their votes. we are a generation of pussies.

I think it's a lot better and easier then most generations before. We don't have to deal with extreme racism, if we're bored we can easily find things to occupy our time. You can have full conversations and meet people from all over the world, traveling is a lot easier.

Of course every generation has it's issues and problems but I'm fine with this generation.

all i see here is that apocalyptic preaching is popular. do you have any idea how good our life is? washing machines, running water, sending a message to the other side of the world in seconds, not having to hunt our own food or cook our own meals and not having to chop wood to make fire, and medicine so great living to 100 isn't that big of a deal.

you can go to one of those poor villages in third world countries if you want to get rid of smartphones. people are not sticking their faces in screens all day. on the other hand they poop in the forest and die if they catch a cold.

it's hypocrisy, this generation has more books, more knowledge, more education and a better life then anyone in the past could have hoped for. the bare minimum education every person gets in kindergarden is better then what a farmer's child could have got 100 years ago.

and the quote is obviously fake, i'm sure einstein is very sorry we write on tablets today instead of doing math on stone tablets using a rock and a chisel.

Our world is becoming a more modernized and developed place, with many conveniences previous generations could only dream of. If you don't seize opportunities or try and make your own, you're doomed to stagnation. That is reality.
