Kinda, His presence has definately decreased in the recent chapters. I felt the focus has been on the 3 previously mentioned characters much more so.

I'm not happy with it. I think Kishi should focus more on living characters, especially K11. Imo, they should be much stronger. Not as strong as Naruto or Sasuke, but definitely stronger so they don't look like fodders in comparison (they trained just as long and some of them were even more determinated lol, they deserve some better treatment).
Kurenai should get on the battlefield (leave her kiddo with a friend or whatever - this is a war to save the world after all), Anko and Yamato should be saved by the fodders that are now sitting on their asses doing nothing. Gai should contribute. Etc, etc.

Lol you're forgetting one thing... all those characters you just mentioned are normal humans and they have been fighting more than 30hrs so I bet they are tired.. I guess the food pills don't really make a ninja fight 3 days straight as Chouji mentioned.. well we're not there my point is... Out of the people who are still fighting Naruto now is the only one still fighting.. but he joined the fight later than everyone. Then tell me how can you expect more effort from them even after they've been struggling so much?

Sort of. Tobimaru I could understand, but if it characters we seen throughout the Manga showcasing the same abilities we already know, not so much. I would be good to showcase Hurizen feats and abilities. I would like Kishi to do more with his character than what feat he has gain being called the Professor, even though he expand on that feat being able to deduce Obito abilities.

It'd be more realistic to see them struggle. Now it's just some bunch of suicide attacks used by zombiez. Rest just chills offscreen. I mean, come on. Edo kages will show their skills and later they'll just end up being unsummonned by Oro. I think the show should focus more around people that CAN use the panel time for further development and that Kishi should try to balance the power between, at least, characters of the same age (I know Sasuke and Naruto HAVE TO be the strongest ones, but still - the gap in power is just too big IMO).

That still doesn't change the fact that Naruto commands the Kyuubi and Sasuke posseses the Eternal Mangekyou. Theres no way that any of their age mates could even come close to matching either.

I don't like edo hokages' hogging the paneltime.

I don't care abut their characters. They don't even have characteristics that would make them more than 2 dimentional. Hiruzen and Minato had their time already. Their death was great. Other than them; they are bland; they were not around for 600 + chapters. They are dead. They can't get injured. They can't die again. There is nothing appealing about them fighting because i would not give a **** about what would happen to them. They are mere fragments of the past. What they have? Power. The sole reason why some people reading this manga. They can't offer anything other than power and that's what people look in a character. They wont get a development; and to be fair i would not care if some zombies are getting development. Now; the SA is sitting on his ass doing absolute nothing. Weren't Bee and Gai going against Jins and Obito? What the hell are they doing? I would care more about them because they are "characters" which can offer something with their development or death.

In conclusion; idgaf about hokages. Nothing really. Zero. Zombies should have stayed in their graves since the current generation should be able to save its own ass. Don't bring me "lel most are fodder" crap. It was mangaka's job to decide power of antogonists and other characters.

The thing is, without the hokage then obito would've killed everyone a long time ago..I see them as a sort of plot shield, protecting naruto & sasuke from getting killed while keeping them in the thick of the battle.

As i said; it is mangaka's thing to make people look like fodder, decent or powerful. Or what antogonist do or how people can counter that.
And yeah; they are just playing the plot shield right now. Nothing intriguing.

Yeah, you are right, sadly. I still think either Naruto/Sasuke are too op compared to their comrades or it's just rest of K11 that wasn't developed good enough. They look like semi-fodders now, unfortunately. I would really love to see Tenten master her Bashosen, Byakugan getting an upgrade, Lee opening 8th gate and so on. It would be SO MUCH MORE entertaining than another ftg user or a rasenshuriken.

And ofc Orochimaru! This guys is a mystery. It's been 600+ chapters and we haven't seen him fighting anyone at 100%. Smirking throughout all of his battles, not giving a fcuk, yet not using some asspull moves with 10km radius blasts and stuff.
