As of right now, I don't think the story is very interesting, it's not as captivating as I thought it would be. In other words, less talk more action for me, but overall I think kishi is basically taking a break from all of the action.

To be honest, i dont like manga or stories with too much powerups, its too kiddish for me, or atleast aimed for teenagers, im too old to be expecting the main characters getting random or reiterative powerups all the time, i dont like it. But i got into the series because i always liked the ninja aspect of it, sadly its been relegated for more flashy ways ot fighting in part 2.
