[Discussion] Are Werewolves & Vampires Overdue?

I mean seriously...What do you think? Since the start of the new millennium, we have been riddled with tons of books, movies, tv shows, and fan wars like Twilight, True Blood, Blade, Underworld, Vampire Academy, Teen Wolf, Vampire High, The Vampire Diaries, and the Originals. Even Twilight is coming out with a tv series. Do you think it's time for Hollywood to move on? Truth be told, I believe they've run out of ideas. That is why they're recycling many movies and coming out with more pointless reality tv shows.

Don't get me wrong, I love vampires and werewolves. Vaewolves are awesome like Klaus and Mikael. But this needs to stop. And don't let me get started on the annoying love stories.

Agreed. They're overdoing it and they are really getting away from the original concept.

I have no problem with an updated cooler version... if there was one. But all they did is to simplify their powers, skills, perks, etc.

And those damn love stories. And is twilight seriously getting a TV series? As if those movies weren't sh*tty enough.

As a big fan of werewolves, I'm extremely dissapointed with all this.

Agreed, I think Hollywood has stuck too close to the cash n' grabs of vampires and werewolves.

And it's mostly been directed toward the horny teenage girls hardcore fans. Time to move on :|
