I posted it earlier in HXH fan club here, and am posting it again

This interview shows how serious Togashi is towards his manga, he is not lazy as people proclaim it to be.

OT:- State of the manga now:-

BTW dark continent arc is turning out to be one of the best arc in HxH it's better that Togashi keeps taking hiatus and making these awesome chapters, rather than some mediocre s***t
Okay this really changed my view now. If it's because of that, then he should tak the time he needs and make the Dark Continent Arc a legend.

He should just spew out the story to the anime producers, oversee the episodes to make sure they are good and make HxH anime only so the lazy ass doesnt have to do much but the series goes on :I
Shueisha won't allow that. It's one of the few, if not the only manga that sells millions of copies without a chapter produced within the year. He also wants to make the manga, so he won't do that as well, even if Shueisha accepted anime only.

We could only hope that by the end of this year that he recovers, and comes back full-time.

I think he should've ended it at the 13th hunter chairman election arc because when the anime ended at that, it seemed like a pretty legit ending since he got to met his dad after all.. and as for yyh, when I finished the anime I was like wtf cause of the timeskip and with it ending like that

I would have agreed if the Dark continent arc hadn't been so good, after the CA arc it felt that Togashi has reached a high point of his manga, but after reading the new arc it feels we should give him as much time as he wants, the whole concept of Dark continent arc, the island, the calamities(which in fact are worse than chimera ants) and just too good to call quits, the potential at this point feels that it is going to be the one of the shonen arcs, will it be that depends on Togashi so just give him time, last thing anyone wants is him rushing it and ending it prematurely.
