[Question] Are Vergo and Monet alive?

A rational answer would be NO. However OP has trained and conditioned me to believe that people only die in flash backs or in wars. Personally I don't want them to be alive as it would reinstate the brutality of the NW. Vergo's one shot death is a feat that belongs to Law. The dude said his dying good bye to DD. It goes beyond all reason for him to be alive.


Monet on the other hand might end up being alive. There were some inconsistencies in her character as well her actions in PH. It would not surprise me if she were alive. I am against reviving characters who won't be of significance in the story.

There are no indications that they're alive, Vergo was cut in pieces and was in an explosion, Monet got stabbed in the heart. I can't see how they would be alive.

Monet can still be alive, Ceasar stabbed her in the heart, but it is the heart of a snow woman. Every part of a logia devil fruit user is made out of it's element. So being stabbed by a shard that isn't made out of kairoseki or by a user that isn't using haki might be survivable.

If Vergo used haki on all the seperate pieces of his body he might survive the blast, the question is how will he put himself back together again.

Though when it comes to Punk Hazard Arch I must admit that, first you had that gass turning people into stone, and it was so horrible, which made it so cool, just the visuals of the stone landscape in the anime was so bloody cool!
And then came. "Nooo, they didn't die at all, they were just covered in this stone thing, you can break it like an easter egg and they are just fine inside."

probably.. since Monet stayed for a few minutes after he got stabbed.. I mean She's a logia and for Vergo theres no way that he cant use his haki even though he was cutted many times so he could probably survived the explotion...

Her heart wasn't transformed at the time, it was all flesh. The blood that trickled from it, her reaction and the blood she coughed up all support that she was hit by a direct wound to her heart.

Vergo and Monet are dead. Oda has been known to regularly interact with his fans, such as SBS, so he more than likely pays attention to them, and I doubt someone like him would create another Pell incident with the fans.
