Are Tobi's paths edo?

i am rereading most of the war arc, out of boredom, and i still cant figure out if tobi's paths are edo. kabuto had them revealed at the beginning of the war with the akatsuki and the other shinobi he used for the edo. they dont use six paths techniques, but they have the chakra recievers. i know those with the sage's eyes can control life and death, so are they edo, or just like the paths of pain?

They were edo, but tobi put the chakra recievers in them so that HE himself could control them!
