Kishi only said they're equals to ease the Butthurt of Uchiha faps. Some of which posted in this thread already.

Realistically? Naruto is the superior Shinobi in all aspects. Sasuke failed to surpass Naruto ever since the Pain arc (before that it was arguable, but after this it was clear as day Naruto had the edge). Since then, Naruto has always been ahead. Even in there Vote 2 fight, Naruto only fought to match and made Sasuke submit.
Even in the Boruto movie, Naruto didn't use his more powerful form and wreck'd as usual.

The simple fact is Naruto's strength, power, speed, senses, potential, etc are on a different tier. Sasuke isn't on his level. If Naruto really wanted Sasuke dead, it wouldn't be that difficult to do so.

Faps need to swallow this truth.

Adult Naruto has full Kurama. Adult Sasuke doesn't have Bijuu and has only gained a stationary portal jutsu.

"Restricted" isn't an argument here, because both Naruto and Sasuke were restricted in the final fight.

Exhausted defensive Naruto = Killing intent Sasuke.
