I ask cause I got three good ideas for a manga (but I won't tell u so no one can steal the idea)


I'm still trying find out what I can do for a career:
Animation
Digital Photography
or manga (but that might just be a hobby)

If you don't pass as an asian, you're shit out of luck.

I'm not so sure about Americans specifically, but in recent memory Kamiya Yuu (No Game No Life) is a successful mangaka who isn't Japanese.

No, the Japanese are very racial oriented people. They wouldn't allow it to flourish in their country unless it's by a Japanese person.

Unless you're Japanese or atleast have their nationality (wich you gain by living in Japan for a few years) you can't officially be a mangaka. Manga is their tradition to wich they hold on to tightly. If you want to be an animator, illustrator or a comic artist you can do just fine in America. Do note that the industry is very hard to break through so don't think it is all sunshine and rainbows.
