The comic not the show, the show is good but like most comic or Manga(or game or book) adaptions the source material is 100x better.
Probably one of the best American made comics ever imo.

I would read the comics but considering it's only about half way done after 11 years, I'm not sure I want to invest that much of my life into it >.>

Also I don't read the comics, but if the show is any indication of how great the comics are, I agree that it has to be one of the best american comics series ever made
