While one taxes your chakra, the other is basically giving you the purest and most vitalizing chakra you can have. Hago even had to give Sasuke some of his chakra along with his Rinnegan, while RSM was all he needed to pass on to Naruto, so that should tell you.

Rinnegan gives u all elements, 6 paths, and a unique jutsu.
RSM gives you universal comprehension of chakra. Heightened sensing, flight, and increased physical ability.

(Note that this^ is considering them both without the aid of juubi/ bijuu chakra)

With juubi/ bijuu chakra RSM gains all KKG, TSB, and of course more power.

Rinnegan techniques become stronger with the addition of juubi/ bijuu chakra as well

Rinnegan doesn't make you immune to genjustu, especial when that was the main weakness of the best rinnegan user of all times (Nagato). Even Hagromoo feared Kaguya's genjustu.

Confuses ppl being scared of juubi jinchuriki with ppl fearing rsm. Even misses the point where Obito was scared that with both rinnegan Madara would be unstoppable

Go ask hamura about it.

If you look, hagoromo took the juubi in, knowing that he is the mind. Hamura can easily take the juubi in, but all itll do is give him a huge chakra reserve, which he already has.

It would benefit hagoromo more as he wouldnt be exhausted whenever he uses his rinnegan.

Although, it would put hamura in a disadvantage as his tenseigan doujutsu isnt as strong as the rinnegan doujutsu (but he sure as hell can use it no problem i would assume).

So mind or eyes is handicapped by low reserves while body can tank and take punishment like nothing. Although it lacks the punch.

In the end, it all comes down to endurance. We all know which would win. I mean sasuke lost because of that. If the rinnegan has more power but life force can keep surviving the attacks, who'd you think will win the fight?
