Are the Sages Body and Eyes equal?

I know Kishi says The sages eyes and body are equal, one is Yin and the other is Yang but when you look at the history behind this theory is is actually true? When does Evil almost ever perservere in the end?

Evidence:

Sages sons. In this fight The younger beat the older son and he had faught for love. The older faught for power. Fight goes to Sages body.

Second Fight Hashirama Senju vs Madara Uchiha. Hashirama won this fight and also had love in his heart for his village and fellow shinobi. Madara faught for power. Fight goes to Sages body

3rd time around we have Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha. Now it it really isn't clear yet what the outcome of this fight will be(Or if there will be a fight), but we do know Naruto has love in his heart and Sasuke desires power.

So my question to you is. Are the Sages Body and the sages eyes really equal? If you have the time please explain and ill make a pole.

The only reason why the younger son of the sage and the first hokage won, is because well off fire and fighting for what they love and believe in. Similer to DBZ xd.
If naruto and sasuke fight ( I don't think they well ) naruto well win because off the well of fire, love and what he believes in. However i think they well fight with each other against tobi xd

lets think of it like this... say the sage rips his eyes out of there sockets and sets them on a table...

now his eyes and body are right beside eachother... which one is still capable of moving, breathing fending for itself, and which one is now just an inanimate object that can't do anything?

it's like having a computer without a powersource or internet if you combined the powersource and the internet you have the body... the computer is the eyes... the computer/eyes can't do anything without it's ties to the body/power, and interent...
