I remember something somewhat similar happening to Bleach during the big battle with Aizen (I dont know how many of you followed Bleach) where everyone was overly powerful and the battles were not as interesting to watch as prior ones and it all ended abruptly.
My favorite naruto fights include Naruto v pein, Sasuke v Itachi, Sasuke v Deidara, and Kakazu & Hidan v Shika and Asuma + company. All those fights were like chess matches, dynamic or included some intelligent plan of attack. I feel now, especially lately that there has been a lack of creativity and in depth fights due to the power-ups of the characters.
One glaring character is Sasuke when he fights the kages and Danzo. He no longer feels the need to block attacks or fight with a plan. He recklessly unleashes his "trump card". Moreover, now that Naruto has access to the fox chakra, more or less hes doing the same thing by going for the big finish right off the bat.
Some might argue that those are minor battles and there are great ones taking place such as Gaara and Oonoki vs Muu and the other Kage, but does anyone else feel that the characters are becoming too powerful causing the fights to be not as interesting and end much quicker than the other fights I have labeled my favorite?
