I suppose. Different populations are raised with different cultures, though exceptions occur. The main thing that needs to be understood is that these stereotypes are as a result of culture not ethnicity and genetics
Some yes, some know. For instance, there's a stereotype that all Latina's and Latino's naturally have rhythm. I went to a Quinsiniera (might have spelled it wrong) and half the people there (all from Peru) either were horrible or weren't dancing at all. And I out danced them. T'was fun.
All stereotypes, whether of positive or negative connotations, hold or once held some grain of truth at some time in history. Now does it apply to everyone all the time? Of course not, there are exceptions to all rules all the time. (On a personal note, a lot of Mexican stereotypes hold true in my family)
