It is implied that they are dead because it says "Shikaku and the others die...!!". But until we see their dead bodies or that the whole place was disintigrated, Kishi might still pull off a "somehow they survived it". So until I see definitive proof that they are dead, I wouldn't rule anything out. I am also a bit suspicious about the "...!!".
