According to the databook, the only married couples are Hashirama x Mito, Minato x Kushina, Hiruzen x Biwako, and Fugaku x Mikoto. I don't recall anyone else getting that distinction. At least not out of major canon couples. Though, I may be forgetting some.
Everyone else had the "lovers" distinction. Asuma x Kurenai are an example of that, they never were husband and wife. Plus, their relationship wasn't revealed to anyone until it became blatantly obvious once Kurenai was pregnant. Lol
~The point of this post is to show that just because people have kids in NV, it doesn't mean they always bother to get married. Some couples never do.
I actually have the same question regarding Naruto and Hinata. I find it fishy that Bolt and Himawari (or whatever the name goes) weren't in the same area at all in the epilogue. She (the brat) stated that she wanted to visit the grave with her brother next time. Why wasn't he there that time? (Besides the obvious defacing of the monument, she didn't seem to be at the academy that day? Or was she and I overlooked it?
Himawari was 4 and Bolt was 7. The entrance age to the Academy is 7, the sister can't go until she's several years older. She has to stay at home with her mom, unlike her brother. That's why they weren't together at he grave... Bolt had school.
