Are Sakura parents dead or alive?

I mean as the topic title says, are they dead or alive? In the entire manga were hear nothing about Sakura parents, heck they never appeared in the manga. We know who Naruto parents are, we know who Sakura parents are, but we know nothing about Sakura parents.
