a normal avatar request takes around a day for someone to reply.
if no one replies in a week or so, then either they were lazy or they couldnt find anything that fits your request. atleast thats what I think happens.
if a person is doing your request and if he/she needs time, then that person would most likely inform you that he/she is working on it just so that you know.
