I was reading around lots of post like tsunade slug sage mode or kakashi dog sage mode and so on...

people, Sage mode is about natural energy and learning how to control that
Normal ninja who is not a sage just use spiritual and physical energy
again for being a sage you just need to learn controlling of natural energy among using two others...
it is like opening gate which all ninja can learn (I'm not talking if it's easy or not)

sage mode is not related to animal you summon or a place
then tell me how is that possible naruto can use it every where and with out Summoned Frog???

If it is just about natural energy, then if you take in to much (when the chakra absorbing pain absorbed narutos nature chakra) then why do you turn into a frog?

Yeah. I'm like what the hell is this 'coz of a misunderstanding everyone's on about slug, dog monkey sage mode.

Kabuto learned it 'coz he went to a teacher who taught it to him. Just like you said anyone can use it, it's just that everyone doesn't know the secrets to it like it requires nature chakra, what nature chakra is and that you gotta stay still to absorb nature chakra.

The whole Snake/Dragon thing with Kabuto is probably because of Orochimaru's cells or some shiz

When it comes down to details like that it's probably 'coz Kishi made sage Mode a Toad only thing, but know changed it to include Snake's as well. He might change his mind later and make all our theories completely useless or he might steal our ideas and we'd be none he wiser and then there'd be tonnes of threads saying things like "I told you so!" and "I was right all along!"

Maybe because Naruto was trained to have Natural Energy related to frogs... just a thought it's the only think that came to my mind to answer that question.

But when you think about it in a theoretical Point of view you could say that the Toad's and the Snake's are probably not the only Masters of Sage Mode, and that there may be other animal variants to it, there may be a slug type.

But i'mma focus on the first two.

Toad style Sage mode is unique to the Toads...:sy: "Duh"
Training involves being in the environment of the toads
Being near or coming into contact with the special toad oil which helps in collecting nature chakra
and Toad fighting style.

Being surrounded by toads probably has a mental effect on the trainee and as such is why turning into a toad is what happens to the people who fail in using sage mode. As for why Pain turned into a toad it could be 'coz Naruto's intent was to turn Pain into a toad, so his thinking effected the chakra's "sub type" if you get what I mean

As for the snake style you can replace Toad with Snake. (don't know if they have a special oil or anything)

It's all just theory though, I'm still sticking with what I said about Kishi changing his mind until he can back it up with more B.S

actually i said i wont contribute to this sage thing until next week but i think clearification matters.So to the point,just because it is called sm means any any creature/summon can make u a sage,or all sm would be of the same qualities and share the same abilities,the answer to all this is No.Frogs have their own physical properties so does snakes and it based on these propertier you have ur sm.The reason why u turn into a frog statue would be the same with the snakes if u take too much nature energy but the diff is what u change into,juugo goes haywire,frog statue and i believe kabuto might ture into a statue related to the snakes if there is any.Now to abilities the frog have more of strenght while snakes are more flexible and faster and i don't think kabuto can have frog kata and strenght as naruto or any frog sage has.So i hope u get what im saying it depends on the summons u have and share their abilities and i think sage mode has to do with only the three lengendary summons and juugo's clan.

but summon animal and place just is about learning and training I think and maybe just maybe a ninja in a normal land can teach/learn sage mode
like jiraiya could teach it to naruto

since the balance of his chakra and nature chakra was not equal, he turned into toad.

He didn't turn toad 'coz he absorbed rasengan. He had Naruto in a half/full nelson lock and was absorbing Naruto's chakra, Naruto couldn't move. So Naruto decided to absorb nature chakra so that the chakra Preta path was absorbing would contain Nature Chakra as well. And since Preta can't control the balance of Nature chakra he turned to stone and Naruto went sage Mode and broke free
