Are you kidding me? Even if we, PC Gamers have to wait, it is totally worth it for the graphics the games deliver.. In my country, you can get a good decent gaming pc for the price of a PS4.

PC provides more modifications for games and you don't have to worry about dying in games if you just want to have fun killing people and stuff (refering to GTA IV and GTA V). There is also Steam which is known to be one of the best and there are summer offers where you get games very cheaply. Hell, you can even download games for free from the internet as long as you have a good internet connection. Playing in a PC is way better than a console. You can constantly upgrade so that it can meet the requirements for the future games. Many graphics card don't need replacing for like 3 years which is totally awesome like the R9 295x2.

That is just my opinion though. PC Master Race! u.u

It's just that games on steam are a lot cheaper compared to those retail console game prices & buying games from steam actually support the developers of the game more than buying console games from the store. More importantly, PC games run a lot more smoothly than on consoles and the graphics are better.

The same way that console gamers get game earlier than we the PC gamers, there are also game that come out earlier or are exclusive to PC, there is an article that came to my mind when i read this thread, if i find it i would post it here maybe sometime tomorrow, that aside overall PCs are better for gaming than console, but still you have to take specs and all that into consideration. Now i know that since PC's are upgraded often they are more powerful than most consoles and to get a better console you'll have to buy a WHOLE new one while on the pc you can just buy some parts and upgrade it but im talking about game-wise here. So far Console gamers have been getting awesome games earlier than us PC Gamers, GTA V, Assasins Creed Black Flag and all the latest awesome stuff while for us PC Gamers we have to wait for quite a bit of time. I mean look at GTA V, the makers said that their going to delay it until Next Year for us PC Gamers while the Console gamers were enjoying it ever since it was released. For a while now i was thinking about trading in my PC for a console but im not sure, what do you think? #PCGamersForever or #ConsoleGamersForever?

I'm a PC gamer and i'm sure that assembled Pc hav more power than a console.Pc have better specification and an ability to "upgrade".
You have a lot of customizations on both hardware and software end.One thing where PC fails is in multiplayer mode.PC doesn't have a robust offline multiplayer platform.( just Think of all nintendo games and family games in PS ).

We are actually stuck with shooting games if we want multiplayer(lan) fun

Also most anime games are on console, but NS fullburst released on PC.I believe they are starting a trend.

More than just FPS. There's MMo's as well, and other co-op friendly games. If anyone needs a list, just go to steam and select the Co-op category.

One being, how can a console beat a pc when the console's hardware is limited to what it came with for 8 years? Technology doesn't stop advancing when a new console is released, it continues to advance and PC get's those advancements. Basically, if this were a race, PC is running, Console is just doing long jumps when a new console is released and then stopping for a long period of time. Sometimes it get's close to PC in the race, but PC is still running and therefore we see the gap between PC and console widen further over the course of 8 years.

Skill wise Console gamers are beyond PC gamers who have like almost everything to their advantage well i don't know about Ps3 they lag on Split screen so yeah lol.

I've been told countless times that PC gamers would win because they have better Specs and Graphics but that all honestly mean shit when it comes down to it.

Meh not into gaming that much any more. Games both on pc and console are getting boring. Plus I'm having a kid here soon next month when the baby is born and work been getting me with 12 hours. So can't find time to play anymore.

If I do play it's on the ps4,ps3,or wii u.
Gave up pc gaming in 2010.

The funny thing is the HD HD 7770 has a rendering rate of 1.20 TFLOPS. The difference is only 9 GFLOP compared to the xbox one, and the HD 7770 costs like 70 pounds lmao. The gtx 760 is around 180 pounds (maybe less) and rapes the ps4.

The only problem is, some games are terribly optimised, especially direct console ports, which in most cases then not, are pretty bad. Pretty sure majority of the PC gamers know about AC3 and it's boston lag, GTA 4 was and is terrible, It's heavily cpu dependent (as most ports are, rockstar learned their lesson, max payne 3 was damn fine tho) black ops 1 also has slow downs at some points. But even so, these are just some examples. To be blunt, the one devoloping company which loves to **** around PC gamers is Ubisoft.

The reason GTA is taking longer is because GTA IV was utter shit on PC. Also, since PC can handle the game much better than consoles can, they're trying to make PC look even more good than the current gen and last gen versions. Last gen hit it's limit, and current gen is probably hitting it's limit.

That's the most ill-informed thing I have ever saw in this forum. You do realise that consoles are PCs, just greatly dumbed down and distilled for it's primary gaming audience, right? Consoles have lesser specs than PCs on purpose, and it is physically impossible for a console to ever get better specs than a PC since, as I said, consoles are just dumbed down PCs. The best PCs are SO far ahead of the dumb Xbone and PS4.

I got both PS4/X1 and Gaming laptop P25X v2 and I can't compare those two, they are both epic in their own way.

Sure, PCs are better graphically, etc. I wonder how much further we can push graphical envelopes before we really begin to see diminishing returns. Now that all platforms can pretty much push levels of realism, I predict we'll see a shift back to focusing on newer, innovative gameplay mechanics as well as new inputs such as VR.

Consoles should shift their focus to providing better gameplay experiences tailored to consumption. As it is, console gaming is more accessible and friendly to most gamers.

Basically, each side has their pros and cons. It's still far too early to rule out consoles as obsolete. Sure, they'll be surpassed by the latest and greatest from the PC market, but remember that the PS3, 360, and Wii's launch titles weren't nearly as good-looking as games that came out towards the end of their lifespans, meaning well-optimized and developed games are coming down the road.

It just boils down to the games. Where one finds fun: whether it's with timeless Nintendo classics or bleeding-edge graphical PC stuff.

comparing pc to consoles is like comparing F1 to Bugatti Veyron, you buy it as it is and you enjoy it as it is while F1 is extremely expensive, and you update it every year!
