Seems like the commissioner wanted a game 7 to make the games more interesting. In my opinion yes they are.

I used to think they were, but I doubt it. Who knows. It interests millions of people and the NBA would get money either way

Who knows and who cares enough to worry about it...It's not like your life depends on it, and even if it did that makes you stupid to put yourself in that situation.

In the perspective of Wrestling, it's pretty easy to fix matches, since you have mainly two people (with surprise guest appearances in some parts of the show) duking it out. We even see people in suits give "words of advice" to the wrestlers, aka "here's the plan". Essentially, "plot twists" are part of the show and they get money from this, even if some of the more blissful audience members do not know.

How in the world do you fix a 20-man-each match of skill, where none of the players are actors and 12 high-definition cameras are pointed at the arena at all times? We'd be able to catch severe acts of amateurism on replays.

It's near damn impossible too fix an NBA or any sport in that matter. But some refs will purposely make calls against players they don't like.

Heat vs Pacers : 1:0 1:1. 2:1. 2:2 3:2 3:3

Same with this series. They've been milking it.

It's pretty obvious when they let Joey Crawford ref. Which he has done twice this series.

I don't really think it's fixed but the superstar treatment from refs really piss me off. On the bright side, Stern is retiring after this season which could stop the possible fixing. Hopefully Joey Crawford does too...

No the NBA is not rigged, Only fake Ball fans will think this. In most situations late in the game, Referees will NOT Call those type of casual contact fouls unless absolutely necessary. Manu also travelled his ass off in that last play... How could this game have been rigged?? Did they plan for Manu Ginobili and Kawhi Leonard to both miss two key game winning free throws, and calculate that Ray allen would hit a corner three off of an offensive board with 5 seconds left??? I don't know I think last night was just a hell of a game.. And I'm neither a spurs nor heat fan

i dont think people understand...

If someone pays off a ref 100k to call fouls against the heat and not against the spurs then obvi the ref will do it... Thats his whole years salary. Its very possible and thats why the crowd was chanting "REFS YOU SUCK" during last nights game. They were calling fouls against miami like CRAZY.

For instance when ray allen got fouled on a drive by the spurs in the 3rd the guy went FLYING cause he was pushed but no call.

Score shaving and refs getting paid off. Google it people

tbh I didn't even realize that game 6 was being played last night. I totally lost interest when the 2 teams that got the most help getting through the playoffs ended up in the the finals. Neither team deserves to be where they're at. Nothing but a bunch of over hyped, cry baby floppers on both teams.

I really doubt they're being fixed. That's way too hard to do under the national spotlight.

It's funny I just read an article saying the same thing and they were saying game six was rigged because Stern wanted a game 7 for higher ratings and all and people were calling Joey Crawford the player of the game lol

But nah the NBA isn't rigged

Unless David Stern has a way of making fade away 3's with seconds left in the game go in, no, no its not rigged.

Not just NBA but many important sports are being Fixed all over the world , its easy to see if they are & its just cause of the bookies so that the people that invest in those games take the bigger win in the end .

Saying game 6 was rigged is basically saying that Stern and both teams came together before the game and decided what the finishing score was going to be and that it would be decided in OT,the refs were told exactly when to call fouls, telling Kawhi to purposely miss a free throw, and Stern granting Ray Allen magical powers to make a clutch 3 to send the game 2 OT.

Not saying some sports aren't rigged, there has been proof that such sports such as boxing have had rigged fights, but NBA is highly unlikely....at least recently it is
