You ever notice the moment Sasuke rejoins the battlefield that they naturally start fighting together? Despite their rocky few years & Unity/Isolation thing, even Sasuke can't help but notice that their teamwork and styles compliment each other perfectly.

Important to note that there's time passing inbetween arcs that we also never seen in the manga. The two had a large impact on each other as academy-age kids. It's the unspoken empathy kind of bond. Even when they were apart inspired the other to keep growing.

They're not friends, Shikamaru is basically the best friend he could ever have. Sasuke and Naruto have been through so much (the end of the world, sacrifices and literal Ootsutsuki reincarnation) that they're basically brothers.

It starts off as a rivalry but it's undeniable that Naruto in it's 15 years of bromance plot earns the Naruto/Sasuke bond.​

Part 2 conflicts aside, its been at least fifteen years. The two had a lot of time to rebuild a friendship. With the way they now interact with one another makes me think that they see one another as brothers in all but blood.

Well, you could make that argument, but Naruto views Sasuke in the same way, and he was portrayed as such throughout a good part of the manga while this was revealed in the third to last chapter.

Sure Naruto considers Sasuke like a brother but what he feels about Sasuke is different than how Sasuke feels about him. Its in the same chapter you mentioned.

That's cuz the manga focused on Naruto's feelings towards Sasuke throughout. Sasuke's real feelings only came into picture after he lost to Naruto at the end. Apart from that how Sasuke felt was rarely explored and he didn't want to acknowledge Naruto before but those feelins were there since the time they started to consider each other as friend.
