They fought and trained together multiple times before this event. If Madara said Hashirama was stronger than him then he is. Simple as that.

And yet they fought against one another for years, and its only later that madara lost, still i see couple of senju with hashirama n just 1 madara. Who knows if it was 1vs1, just like mito helped hashirama with kurama.

I don't understand why this was hard to understand.

The only reason people could "think" the Uchiha were stronger is because of the exposure that the Uchiha have gotten from the whole Manga.

Sasuke = The main character's best friend, rival and counterpart.
Itachi = The whole reason for Sasuke's character in part 1 and played a vital part in Sasukes power.
Obito = The most crucial for completing the Eye of The Moon plan and did so over a varied amount of time.
Madara = The basis for the story. Battle at the VOTE - Goes into hiding - Learns secrets - Gets resurrected as Pseudo-Rikudo to commence Eye of the Moon.

Minus Naruto and the Bijuu's, the entire manga is basically centered around the Uchiha.

The Senju > Uchiha argument is simply answered by one question+answer.

If you pit the strongest Senju and the stronges Uchiha against eachother, who would win?

Answer: Hashirama Senju. Add that to the fact Madara had the strongest Bijuu on his side.

And why is it hard to understand that in both fights that madara lost, hashirama wasnt alone! He had mito to prevent madara from regaining control over kurama, and in this chapter i see tobirama with signs of battle + couple of senju.
Further more in their last fight if madara used swords special ability from the start he would have killed hashirama, cuz u cant catch it with wooden hands, and where were flash bijudamas, or continious bijudamas?
So u see to me madara clearly had all it takes to kill hashi. It didnt happen so in this manga but its no sign of his inferiority!

Madara, with EMS and Rinnegan did clearly stated that Only Hashirama can defeat him. For Madara to say this, means he knows what Hashi is capable of. So I don't think Madara is anywhere near the God of Shinobi.
