[Question] Are guests real?

In every thread I check there are always like 3 guests watching, is this real? Are there 3 people out there surfing over these threads?

Probably not real people, I think search engines and bots are listed as guests too.

It maybe random visitors, some member who are not logged in, or Google bots.

About 85% of the guests are real visitors and the rest is bots of different sorts.

Aren't invisible members also showing as guests? I think the option is to not appear as guest either but still.
