Gay person here. Personally, I don't think we're born with it, but it's not a choice. To put it simply, due to the experiences we had as a child, it developed my sexuality subconsciously. Key word subconsciously, I have no control over what my subconscious does. Not sure what exactly it is that shaped it, but it's something. (This is my own theorizing, no proof to back it up). I don't want to be gay. I don't like being gay. But it's my reality and I'm going to accept that fact as part of my life.

anyway , to answering to your question sir , to be more clear. The more logical answer that i can come with is: God created the Earth , and created one woman and one man. Thus that mean , that in that time there wasn't gay people around , and i believe that God also said something about , that only heterosexual should exist ... :dunno: that's only my thought ... yours can be something different. read well , that's my thought , bc its the most logical one. Now , did you understood?

Ooh! That was a question posed just a week ago if I remember correctly. I pointed out a clear possibility (enough to give you a B+ in percentage value) that we are born with our preferences. But unfortunately, not too many people cared enough to read or just flat out refused to give it a try

But religion is clearly at the heart of this matter, because religion is the only sect besides "I don't like it; it's icky" that opposes homosexuality.

I'd say about 60 percent of the threads in this section turn into religious debates. It always ends up that way, you could be talking about anything and it gets turned into a religious debate.

I suppose the only logical thing for me to do is leave when it starts.
