Are Gai and Lee the Ultimate Counter ???

Gai and/or Rock Lee could easily defest at least four of Pain's bodies.
1. Deva Body - The deva body needs five seconds recharge time and so in that time easily they can pull of a Reverse Lotus
2. Animal Body - By the time the Animal Realm can finish the handsigns for summoning it would have the crap beaten out of it.
3. Preta Sphere - It absorbs chakra but a Konoha Senpu could easily damage it like hell
4. Ghost Realm - Hates Physical attacks and therefore will be thrashed by Lee or Gai

Perhaps Kishimoto has realised this and this is why he has made Gai and Lee leave the village on a mission

Either Kishi will pair the Taijutsu masters up with none of those 4 Peins, or he will not have them fight (just be in time to save Kakashi or something), or we will find out that not all Pein bodies can only use 1 move.. which is the most logical to me.

everyone has valid arguments but most of the time we (narutobase community) are always very close but kishi always throws us off some way so i cant give a full ok to anything i think will happen even if i like the argument

Don't underetimate Pein. 3 and 4 are true but Animal realm ca summon multiple animals at a time and from what we've seen he can summon them pretty fast; it would be difficult if Lee didn't know a summon.

Yeah Rock lee and Gai wouldn't be enough. Maybe the two of them could take one pain body.

that kinda makes sense.taijutsu is the key to pains defeat.whole gai's team was apsent during invasion.all of gai's team use taijutsu...lee neji tenten.plus neji has byakugan which detects chakra flow which would reveal pain at once.tenten's ability would be pefect to counter got and ghost realms.I dont say anything about gai lee and their gates!

if sakura could take a summon down with one punch i'm sure gai could hold his own... and who do we know of that can keep up with rock once the weights come off... did we forget something.... oh yea... he can open just a few of the gates and whoop a couple of the peins... let's be realistic, pein is more hype than anything... he can be beat but kisi is prolonging the inevitable
