the highest honor you can achieve as an artist, is to inspire others. money and some aspects of fame are really dope too. but reading through DM's i get all the time of people telling me my music has helped them through hard times or helped fuel their fun times. or like tattoos theyve gotten of my song lyrics. theres so much i could go on about and its priceless, its not something you can buy to touch people in that way. i was literally just wanting to do what made me happy all the time when i decided to pursue a music career. and ive made huge impacts in millions of random peoples lives, its crazy
its not about being on a high horse or flexing once you see the bigger picture. and theres proof all around you. that uchiha sig and avatar was sparked from some dudes successful manga. this iphone im typing this on is originally from some dude who wanted to start a computer company. theres infinite examples of people reaching their goals
you cant really tell people how to live their lives. but you can inspire the right people when they need it
No. Songs, Motivational Speeches, etc., is only worth anything if only you believe in it. You can't convince somebody or tell somebody how to feel, they have to believe it themselves. Some people are satisfied with the result: thus their dreams have come true. Others who have failed came to terms to determine everything is a complete lie.
The thing is I have a lot of daydreams where I achieve do awesome stuff, and then I listen to alll of these motivational songs and I wonder is it ever even possible for me to do what I really want to do?
I don't need to be rich and popular, but there are some things I really aim towards but I can't predict the future I don't know if it's even possible or if it's just in my head.
And it's so frustrating, people telling you that you can do anything if you jsut work really hard or if you believe in it or wahtever crap they say.
How am I supposed to know if that's even real or not? I could work super hard every day of my life and probably never get anywhere, I think people who work at subway works hard, but I don't see any movies about their lives.
And even if there are some people who have managed to do awesome stuff there are like 7 billion people in the world, what if most people really do have the same dreams but only a handlful succeed?
