Nothing against these two, but you gotta wonder. Apparently Kakashi is the most popular character in the series if you put together the collective votes in the official surveys. Kishimoto can't be unaware of this, and Kakashi seems like he heavily inspires traits in a certain type of character. Lets see what Kakashi shares with these two ninja.
Ao: A man with a prestigious and high-ranking backround in the Special Forces, Ao can be disrespectful towards his subordinates but serves his village as best he can. He wears an eye-patch, which conceals an implanted eye from one of Konoha's two great Doujutsu clans, which he is quite skilled with despite not being a native user. Ao is an expert tracker and more than proficient at Water Release techniques.
Darui: Past favorite of a long dead Kage, Darui's personality can best be described as somehow both laid-back and hypercompetent. He has a tattoo on his shoulder which seres as more than simple decoration. Darui is a master at both Water and Lightning techniques, which seem symbolic of both his blazingly intelligent mind and his calm and collected personality. Darui has many regrets. He posesses a bloodline of significant power, but what makes it deadly is the precision it enables even in the heat of combat for skilled users. Darui seems to be next in line for the position of Kage in his village. He has a Lightning Release technique of extraordinary power at his disposal, and prefers to use it as a finishing move. Darui is relatively slender, with spiked, oddly bright hair. One of his eyes is usually never visible, and the other seems perenially half-closed. Darui has performed very well in the Fourth War, and has served as a commander of a sizeable section of the allied forces. He has fought even against opponents classifiable as extraordinary Jinchuuriki, and has impressed many with his endurance.
So yeah, opinions?
