I've been hearing some mixed opinions about those games.

I've heard Ghost is just a copy and paste game(which most CODs are), and I've also heard the campaign is short and boring. Some things I've heard about BF4 was that its boring and that its the same as BF3.

Should I wait until next gen to buy the games or just not buy them at all?

This was about CoD: Ghosts, btw.

BF4 is NOT the same as BF3. Unlike CoD, they made so many adjustments and differences between the games, added a lot of new features, etc. The game is amazing. I'm playing it right now. 9/10, would recommend. The only problem I have with this game is that, since it's not on next-gen consoles, the graphics take a little to render and they are kinda choppy. I don't mind because the game is still a lot of fun.

Edit: If you do end up getting it, either wait until next-gen to get BF4, or you can buy it now and pay $10 dollars to get it for next-gen, so you get two games for $60

BF4 is far better.

It looks good, It plays good, versatile in Air/ground/vehicle combat, Taking down/Blowing holes in buildings, Jumpings and parachuting off big ass buildings. Snipers aren't just point and click at long range since you have to account for bullet drop feels so satisfying when killing with a sniper.
When you play BF4 is actually feels like your playing in a war zone.

i havent played either, but I think BF4 might be worth buying. From E3, the game seemed to have some great features(such as fighting on rooftops, and being able to parachute down, etc. The campaign is probably just the same, but the multiplayer(what i would get it for) seems great. I dont play any cod games because of how stale the multiplayer is....it is literrally just mindless killing, that requires no strategy. Its also annoying how you spawn, then like 5 secs later someone spawns right behind you....I like it when you spawn opposite of your enemies, not kind of toghether.

So basically from what i know, cod ghosts is copy and paste, and battelfield 4 is the same with more added to it.(a seemingly signifigant amount it seems)

I personally will wait till bf4 drops to be 40 or less in price. It is not something i am that excited that i have to get it right when it comes out(as opposed to titanfall, destiny and the new super smash bros. Those im excited for)

Depends my friend. What console are you gonna get it for?

Call of Duty? Well it is fun, plain and simple but if you are like me and played modern warfare back in the day and then stuck around to see the same game pretty much you get bored. I ranked up all the way on all of them till black ops and now im sick of it. It is the game you get just because all of your friends get it and you want to play with them.

Battlefield? I think it should be more popular and esp if you play on computer get it over cod. It is somthing new and different and they make updates unlike CoD little changes they do. If you have played the killzones i would say its like that. they make huge improvements and its a super polished fun game that just hardly anybody plays.

All in all i say get either one, if you have 60 bucks and arnt sick of Fps'es go for er. If you are hardcore which im assuming you are not because you asked if they are worth it.

Call of duty is probably your best bet regardless of what i said just because you are pretty much gaurenteed 2 years of easy to find matches and call of duty is still fun if you have not had your shares worth of it yet.

How i know? I am about as no life as it comes to video games.

Battlefield 4 on the next gens is supposed to be 32 vs 32 as I recall.

So really you would be getting Battlefield 4 on the next gen consoles

Unless you prefer smaller action...

Battlefield 4 is the way to go.

Call of copy/paste is doing the same thing all over again, same engine, come on infinityward, get a new engine? is that hard to make a new one? c.c
