Are Anbus the weakest ninjas?

Really,we know that Anbus are special ninjas but every time we see Anbus,we see them getting rapped by everyone xD...

Not including here Itachi,Kakashi,Yamato and Sai

Anbu are sent on missions that require a higher-class of ninja, than your standard ninja.
This is normally because what ever they are going up against is at a higher sandard, than an average level ninja.
Against a stadard Jounin the anbu would have no trouble. But against the likes of the Akatsuki (who are more like a Kage-rank),they get their asses handed to them.

Thats true you know they seem to be very well the word is "Shit" for example when Orochimaru was leaving with Sound 4 when he killed Hiruzen how did the Anbu Black Op leader fell for such a basic trap.

TBH I believe most "Known" Jounins can take on Anbu's for example Guy Asuma I believe can definitly take on some of the people in Anbu Black ops. Can't think of anymore Jounins xd Kakashi doesn't count because he is a Special Jounin came down from aAnbu and same with Yamato. Heck I think some of Konoha 11 can take on some Anbu or am i be a little too optimistic their?

anbus are strong its only because they have to be aware to not be defeated and kept alive (they have to fulfil their duties to a full extent.)

Kidomaro, a ninja beaten by Neji, a genin was able to solo two Anbu ninjas with ease!

Neji was a high chunin level ninja by then or maybe even low jounin so Kidomaro was pretty strong for his age but he didn't even use the cursed seal against the two Anbu. I say the Anbu are low chunin level but they are good at stealth and team work but suck at all out combat.
