Are #17 and #18 slacking in the tournament?

At some point early in the tournament, #17 was saying to #18 how they should make good use of their unlimited stamina as androids.

Tbh, they arent really making good use of that.
I havent seen them in many fights in the tournament.

Are they just chilling and enjoying watching fights lately?

Why didnt they help Goku after he was worn out fighting Jiren?
They let Frieza replenish Goku's energy instead. Can they replenish energy too to others?
Why didnt they assist Goku vs those robot fighters? Caulifla took them out instead.
Why arent they finishing off Ribirianne?
Why arent they assisting Piccolo and Gohan vs the uni6 nameks?

Were they even fighting anyone previous episode offscreen?
I know we will get some android footage next episode according to the preview.

However havent we seen them in only a very small amount of fights so far,
for people who can tire others out with their unlimited stamina?

I thought for sure they were going to fight the robot fighters hassling Goku, because it made sense to me, the androids vs the robots, and it also cut to their image around that time, so I was like, finally gonna see some more stuff from them, because we only saw 17 for a short moment once since the beginning of the tournament, and he was kicking ass...

I hope to see more from him soon.

I think everyone will get some relevant screen time, but since Goku's fight with Jiren I feel like they had to focus on Cauliflower and Kale's development to bring out the most powerful warriors (aka fusions and new transformations). Whereas the androids don't have that sort of exciting aspect to their game to my knowledge anyway. I just feel like the only ones left for universe 11 to make the tournament interesting is are the sayains and the androids, Piccolo will most likely drop out real soon.

She didnt continue training like #17.

They can peel fighters from their teammates, so that their teammates dont waste stamina on those,
or so that their teammates can recover.

They have not been doing that.
We have seen #17 use his barrier to protect Goku once and that is about it.

I know that 11 minutes have passed for the characters in the dragonball super tournament episodes,

but it feels like there have been conversations alone, that all combined, lasted longer than 11 min total .

Sure they move fast and all, so time may appear slower than it is, but still,
there was a lot of talking, recovering, hiding and also slow fights.
Heck, that transformation of Ribrianne and her two friends took ages .
