I didnt know where to put this, so i put it here. Im saving to buy an archos 5 but i hear the itouch is also good. If u have either which would recommend. I like the archos 5 design but itouch i hear has more apps. And which has a wider internet reach, wifi or somethin ? Which should i buy ?

Well u didn't tell where u live so lets consider USD as a currency here is a comparison:-

The good:
The Archos 5 portable video player offers a large, high-resolution touch-screen display, Wi-Fi, music playback, photos, Flash video and game compatibility, a PDF reader, Mac and PC compatibility, built-in speaker, integrated kickstand, and optional DVR, GPS, and 3G capabilities.
The bad:
The Archos 5 requires a proprietary USB cable for charging and transferring content, the glossy design is quickly marred with fingerprints, older Archos accessories are incompatible, some applications are still in beta, and you'll need to pay extra to activate many of the player's more desirable features.
The bottom line: The Archos 5 boasts an improved screen size, image resolution, and sound quality over its predecessor, but its Web browser and Flash media playback are disappointing for a product marketed on the strength of its Internet media capabilities.

The second-generation iPod Touch may be overwhelming to users looking for a simple music player; audio quality is average; and iTunes software is required.
The bottom line: The second-generation iPod Touch includes features that are light-years ahead of the competition, its design has improved, and its price has finally come down to earth.

Ok first off the ipod touch is a flash player and that's the reason why it's so expensive. Flash players tend to run for more money but have better battery life. The app store on it is awesome though, and it offers possibly the best mobile gaming experience other than the psp.
While you are entitled to your own opinion, I don't think the archos 5 has a bad music interface. And while it has a lot of video and music formats supported, you have to buy a plug-in for 30 bucks for all of them. And the archos is not a flash player. This player also has a store for games but it's not as intuitive as the ipod and only supports games i believe.
