First of all i was inspired by this thread
I think we all can see it already the War Arc has no more roads to go.
Zetsus and Edos are dead (aka the bad ones lost it's armies and the good ones closed in on the last resistance).
What we see now is the end of the war, as the other thread mentioned it i agree with the fact that Obitos is just a puppet and Madara will do something to betray him ( the whole moonseye plan is nonsense aswell)(big big conspiracy by Madara). I do not want to speculate about how, why ect.
I will just presume that Naruto will win it will be a epic battle and the end very emotional.
Anyway i want to point out that Kishi already planted the seeds for the new Naruto arc and probably the best arc of all by now.
The seed is first of all Orochimarus revival (he is not the final villain, for me he never was, actually he was always something like a side character for me), nevertheless he is a very important part of the new Arc that will be starting i guess somewhere around late march or april maybe even may (i noticed new arcs start always around that time, just before a new naruto movie is released). The main focus will be Sasuke and as the other thread say'd he will do something horrible and cement him self as the true last and only Villain. Back to war arc, i also think that Sasuke and Orochimaru are right now heading towards a defensles Konoha, Sasuke will learn the truth from the elders and they will die (they are the ones who know answers) (still guessing what that scroll is and who is the man with all the answers), Konohamaru will get a big part too and probably die fighting Sasuke, some fooder people from Konoha will die aswell, and NO Sasuke will not destroy Konoha now because whatever shocking (and it will be shocking) he finds out in Konoha it will cause him to retreat to learn more about that stuff, or he might go training, whatever it is it will be very shocking for all of us. (or we wont find out what exactly it is and we will have thousands of threads "i know what he learned" "i know what it is"). Anyway that will cause a new Arc (not much connected to the previous arcs), i cannot guess about what it will be because i do not have any kind of hints. It might cause a time skip.
My personal prediction is when the war ends the current political and military system in Narutoverse are going to crumble into chaos OR a new Era of Peace between the various countries. I do belive that most kages will die, I am 100% for the tshuikage and i predict the possible and very likely death of Tsunade and A. Only one left would be Gaara and the chick kage (forgot her name). Aka the young generation is left and the old one was purged in the war.
We will have a completely different Naruto left who will be shaken and probably somewhat lost, because there will be alot of grief and anger in him so many lives lost for nothing. I do not think that he will be the same again atleast not now. He might actually question not his belief but he will question some of his decisions and his plans.
I actually predict that he might leave Konoha after the war to find answers for his questions (another seed for new arc is whenever he is questioned how he will stop the circle of war and hatred he only say's i will stop it somehow).
That will marc the start of the new arc.
To formulate it quickly new arc starts when:
Sasuke covertly attacks konoha, finds shocking answers to his questions but those answers will lead to more questions, he will not destroy konoha but will kill Konohamaru and innocent people. He will go out into the world to find answers or somebody or to train (Oro probably dies for real this time).
War ends in an epic peek some more Important people will die, some kages aswell and Naruto and co save the world from Madara (who will either die or assumed to be dead), Obito dies aswell and realise before his death that he was a puppet all along and that he regrets everything he ever done.
When Naruto returns home he will find only more grief (after all the shit happend in the war and all the deaths of his friends and close ones), Konohamaru is death, the world he knew is gone, and many many radical changes happen in the whole world (either to a era of peace or chaos).
He questions him self his power his knowledge his feelings and decides to leave Konoha to find answer for questions who nobody can answer.
This probably results a short or medium timeskip no more then 2 yrs.
I also guess Hinata goes together with Naruto
I couldn't really express my self with the above, in short my guts are telling me that Naruto will return to the mysterious type of plot. More like Mystery and Discovery with fantastic epic battles between individuals and not countries and groups or whatever.
But in short this arc will be something like a prequel to the final Battle between sasuke and naruto, evil vs good ect. It will decide the fate of the whole world and it will close the circle of destiny in Naruto.
