The one she did against Buntan looks pretty Itachi-esque to me.

Buntan only realized she was under a genjutsu after quite a while. When she did, Sarada already had her on checkmate.

She's the first child of the sage of 6 paths so she's more like an Indra was to Rokudo. Anyway according to her stats she has 4 stars in genjutsu, ninjutsu knowledge and Marksmanship. They are the 3 fields Itachi excelled in and the fact that she's been using genjutsu pretty much since day 1. If we go by Itachi Shinden Genjutsu was also Itachi's preferred method of combat. You could say she won't use Emphemeral but I don't see why it's off the table at a future date.
