History:
Shai was born in Konogakure. Even though he was shy and distant to the rest of his classmates at the academy, he was always top of his class and he graduated from the academy at a record of 5 years of age. Like Hinata he was shy and wanted to better himself by becoming a ninja.
At the age of 6 he went on a mission that would change his life. On one fateful day when his team and squad leader were captured by enemy ninja on the mission, they ordered him to stay on mission but he refused to because he believed that the life of a comrade was more important then that of a mission. Because of this the enemy slaughtered his team right in front of his eyes, then an anger that lay dormant within him awakened. When Shai woke up he was horrified at the scene that lay before him. At least 10 enemy ninja lay around the area, their body parts strewn around the entire scene. He couldn't bare the guilt, he thought that not only did he kill the enemy but he also killed his comrades, having no memory of the killing of his comrades.
He run away from Konohagakure and stumbled onto a kind ninja from Kirigakure with an eyepatch covering his right eye. He saw the Leaf village headband, he asked if he was a member of any clan, Shai informed the ninja that he did not belong to any clan and to Shai's disbelief the ninja reveiled that he possessed the Byakugan, the Kekkei Genkai of the Hyuuga Clan, although it was only in his right eye. This ninja was Ao, and he asked Shai what was he doing out in the land of mist and Shai explained what he thought had happened to him. Ao came up with a theory that Shai had somehow developed a second personality, one that was vile and cruel and that would do anything in order to protect those that are precious to both Shai and, as Ao named him, Wrath; who would be perfect for the Village Hidden in the Mist.
Shai completed his training at Kirigakure by the age of 9 and learnt how to wield a sword by training with both Zabuza Momochi and Kisame Hoshigaki (before they were dejected) at the age of 15. His sword is Shifuto. A huge sword that is thick and can withstand most minor attacks and a few major attacks. It's ability is the ability to 'Shift' its length and width aka making it a little longer, this of course takes up a bit of chakra. Shifuto can only be weilded by Shai/Wrath.
He is currently training while he awaits Ao, Chōjūrō and the Mizukage to return from the Kage's Meeting.
