Background Info.
History:

Rōshi became the jinchūriki of the Four-Tails at a very young age; around the age of 5. He left his hometown of Iwagakure at the age of 23 to better understand and control the power of the beast within him. He has enjured great hardship during his travels and that is why he looks much older than he really is. His goal was to be able to fullly control his Demon, but has yet to acheive that goal. When he was travelling he came across a weapon and armory, and decided that he needed a weapon that he could call his own, by a complex system of infusing chakra into metal and making sure it looked like what he had anticipated, Rensa was created. Since Rensa has been inbued with Rōshi's chakra, Rensa can only and will only be held by Rōshi. He has learnt many things in his travels, like the neighboring villages he passed through, he found small children, forced to live on the street, many a time has he helped those that needed the help, while all the high and mighty governers, sat with their concubines stuffing their faces with rich, expensive food, while little children were dying of starvation and malnutrition. One night in a large village east of his home village of Iwagakure, Rōshi took it upon himself to stop the fat, tyrant that was killing people in the village that he was meant to be caring for, so on that fateful night, Rōshi broke into the governors home and put him to sleep....permenantly. The next morning, Rōshi had left that village with a smile on his face, knowing that all the homeless were being taken care of. To this day he occasionally slips into degrading villages and helps out. He has a new dream, one that will stick with him for the rest of his life "To help all those that need it."
