Kono-hana is the wife of the god Ninigi. She met him on the seashore and they fell in love; Ninigi asked Oho-Yama, the father of Kono-hana for her hand in marriage. Oho-Yama proposed his older daughter, Iwa-Naga, instead, but Ninigi had his heart set on Kono-hana. Oho-Yama reluctantly agreed and Ninigi and Ko-no-hana married. Because Ninigi refused Iwa-Naga, the rock-princess, human lives are said to be short and fleeting, like the sakura blossoms, instead of enduring and long lasting, like stones.

Kono-hana became pregnant in just one night, causing suspicion in Ninigi. He wondered if this was the child of another kami. Kono-hana was enraged at Ninigi's accusation and entered a doorless hut where she then set fire to it. She vowed that the child would not be hurt if it were truly the offspring of the heavenly kami Ninigi. In the hut, Ko-no-hana had three sons, Hoderi, Hosuseri and Hoori.[2][3]

Shrines have been built, at Mount Fuji, for the goddess Konohana Sakuya Hime. It is believed that she will keep Mount Fuji from erupting,[4] but shrines to her at Kirishima have been repeatedly destroyed by volcanic eruptions.

I think its coincidental that 3 important events like what you listed happened exactly a year after one another.. and from the looks of the ch we just read, I doubt the next one will have anything of great significance. the biggest thing I could see happening is Naruto receiving the other half of the Kyuubi, and that wouldn't exactly impress me.....

We are approaching the first year anniversary of Tobi's reveal, Kishimoto will no doubt reveal something grand soon in the plot:

I think it will be the S06P's secret identity as well.

However, the S06P being Uzumaki isn't that big of a reveal. There is no twist like there was with the 6th coffin or Tobi's identity. From a literary standpoint, the sole fact that the S06P is an Uzumaki doesn't provide substantial meat to the story or theme.

Why wasn't the 6th coffin some random person we didn't know? Why wasn't Tobi some random person, or some minor unknown character like Izuna? Simple: literary value.

We can't see S06P's face because an untimely reveal would ruin everything. Just think of how it would have ruined the story had we seen the contents of the 6th coffin right when Kabuto summoned it. Well, the same goes for the S06P.

We have to ask ourselves, would it damage the story if we saw the S06P face earlier in the same manner of an untimely reveal of Tobi or the 6th coffin?

If he was only a face with Uzumaki hair, then no it wouldn't. It would be somewhat of a surprise, sure. But ultimately, it wouldn't tie in very strongly with the main themes or characters in the story.

My main point is this: The reveal of the S06P's identity is going to be much more than him simply being Uzumaki.

That makes sense. It nicely parallels Naruto and Sasuke. It's interesting but I think the Sage is going be be a Naruto that failed.
Also, at the end of the story, Naruto is not going to be a S06P that succeeded.

Or maybe moon eye plan succeeds, but since the juubi lacks the 8 & 9 tails, the genjutsus isn't perfect and some people are able to withstand/escape it.

I think this a perfect solution to the "too many characters" problem. Also, might I add that it would be nice if everyone gets sucked into it, but a few are able to resist in the dream world and fight in there as well. It would allow from some much needed change in scenery. It also allows Kishi to be more flexible with his artwork.

I'm hoping that the anniversary thing is the SO6P's background and that the sage is half Uzamaki and half Hyuga. That opens the door to both clans histories being revealed in the near future. I would think we would get the SO6P story first since Naruto will probably get the rest of the chakra in the nest couple of issues.

Now that Minato knows he can be wiped out by the jubbi he should be giving it to Naruto soon before that happens. Especially since he is a sage and his attacks can hurt Obito. Having the full power of Kurama would make his SM attacks that much more devastating.
