~To give all RPers, especially newer/less experienced members, the opportunity to grow and develop their skills in the NarutoBase Role-Play system. To give them the tools they need, both the jutsu and the knowledge to use them correctly, so that my students can enjoy their time on this site. That is my Sensei Michi; my Teacher's Way.~
Introduction
Greetings, all. I have recently become anointed with the Orange name, and as such, teaching is my first priority. Currently, I can teach the Basic Five elements, Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, Taijutsu, Puppet Ninjutsu, Magnetism, Gold Dust, Bakuton (non-clay), and Hozuki techniques. My list of teachable techniques is, hopefully, not complete at this time (as in, I'll learn more and therefore can teach more), but for now that would be all.
Now, before applying, I'd like to say that my training style will try and be more Role-Play oriented. It may take a bit longer than normal trainings, but this way it forces me to not simply copy my posts from other threads and cheat myself, and my students; each post will be forced into uniqueness, and everyone has an equal opportunity to learn everything they want to at a quality pace. This being said, be prepared to give your all in my training; I will Role-Play, and I expect you to Role-Play as well, even if just a little bit. I hope everyone can have fun with my training, as that's part of my goal; to teach you everything in a new way that allows you to have fun while in the Training Grounds.

Normal Students
Hello. This is the section of my Application Thread in which most people should be interested in. If you want training in any one of the aforementioned Ninja Skills, then the template to follow is for you. As I said before, I expect moderate levels of Role-Play from my students; if you're not serious about actually Role-Playing, then to be honest, you can look for another teacher. Role-Play beyond "I use techniques X, y, and z" is something I strive to create and encourage on NarutoBase, and I don't want students who would prefer the above "RP", in which the bare minimum (if that) is posted. Yes, I will drop students if they repeatedly Role-Play at a level far enough below my standards (you will get warnings, so don't worry).
The students I will take will be more limited than I would like, but limited to a point where I feel comfortable as a new sensei. As I ease into things, I may or may not take more. For Each Element I will take a single student. The exception is Doton and Fuuton, where I will take two. Two students will be taken for Ninjutsu. One will be taken for Taijutsu, as it is not a strong suit of mine, but I feel that as a sensei I should teach all I know. Everything Else I can teach has a limit set at seven+; this essentially means that there is no limit, either because I love the Ninja Skill or it's a special ability that not everyone has, but I don't want to accept massive amounts of people at the same time. However, if there are people who have posted for what you want training in, but I haven't responded, don't be discouraged; apply anyhow. Until I say "I won't accept people for [Ninja Skill] anymore", I encourage you to apply.

Squad Students
Disclaimer: not for the faint of heart. It has been a dream of mine for a while now to be a "Kakashi" on NB, and I don't mean have the pseudo-Uchiha bio. I've wanted to have a small group of students whom I would train and teach almost everything (or everything, if they knew nothing). This would require intensive Role-Play (more than an Average Student), and would not be any average training; it would take more time and dedication than normal. However, it would be my ultimate goal to help anyone undergoing this training to leave with a high understanding of the NBRP, and with a great respect for true Role-Play, as I have. I don't expect many people to sign up for this training, especially after I said it would be longer than normal, but for those who do, I will do my best to be as great a teacher as I can. Finally, this is a Group Training system, so please keep that in mind. Preference will be given to members with less training, but please apply anyhow if you're interested.

~By applying, I recognize the amount of effort in the Role-Play side of training, as well as amount of effort in the Learning side of training, expected from Sharingdork-sensei. I also recognize that Sharingdork-sensei will teach me all the basics, and all special techniques he can, and I will not get another teacher for anything he can teach me.~
Senpai Applications
Finally, the end of my Application Thread comes to my Senpai. For those who don't know what a Senpai is, you don't need to worry about this section. It's clearly not for you. For those who do know what a Senpai is, I'm going to go into a bit more depth of what I want from my personal Senpai.
My Senpai should be someone who, like me, respects aspects of true Role-Play. They should also be someone I have known prior to their application; if you apply without having any kind of background with me at all, you'd better be so over-qualified I have to ask "why aren't you a sensei/RP Mod yet"? But being serious, I'd like someone I have a background with, someone I already know and can trust. My Senpai will reflect my work, and because of that I want someone I can trust to train well, and who will ask me when they themselves are confused, instead of being proud and trying on their own, or not respecting me and asking someone else.
If you haven't completed all 5 Basic Elements, I shall help you and train you in all the elements you need; don't let it stop you from applying. I want to see everyone who wants to be a part of my training system try their best. Additionally, I shall do everything in my power to help my Senpai achieve their goals. I want a close "relationship" with my Senpai, in that I will talk with them every now and then, see how they're doing, and ask how I can help them with anything they require help with; a question in training, advice for whatever they want, so on and so forth. It won't be a "okay, here's some students, have fun" type of Sensei-Senpai relationship.
As a final note, there are a few specific things I'm looking for in my Senpai. While I won't tell you what all of them are (because then I'd risk people lying and just saying what they think will get the position), I'll tell you what a few things I'm looking for are. I want my Senpai to have ambition, and what exactly I mean I'll let you figure out. My Senpai must be dedicated and loyal (to what, I don't have any specific criteria). My Senpai must, at the very least, respect Role-Play. If you read all of this, and still think that you can be my Senpai, then please apply.

Final Notes
That was my Application Thread. I'm surprised you made it all the way to the end. There was really no reason for you to read anything other than the bordered section for the type of template you were going to use to apply with. However, if you made it this far, I may as well have something here for you to read.
I will read everything you write. I anticipate many student applications, a few Senpai applications, and maybe even a couple Squad Student applications. However, no matter the size of wallie, or the terribleness of grammar used, I will do my best to read everything. Of course, a wallie with absolutely terrible grammar will be overlooked by myself, and I will contact the author of the post and let them know I didn't read for said reason.
Everything will get a personal response. I will do my best to give you the honest reason for why I declined you, and I will give specific instructions regarding what to do when you're approved. If I skip over your post, you have every right to contact me via VM to ask what happened.
Due to work, on the weekdays I am only available so many hours, so not a lot of training can get done (though I'll do my best to get as much done as possible); on weekends, I'll be much more active and can get a lot more done. Please keep this in mind when applying.
You can only apply for one training type, either Normal or Squad. If you get Squad, you won't need Normal. And if you don't get accepted to Squad, you can apply to Normal later.
Have fun, and apply away. Don't be scared when I talk about wanted a lot of Role-Play; it's easy enough for most people to get, and doesn't take very long. It also makes it much clearer what you're doing, how you're doing it, and overall enhances the NBRP system. If it still discourages you, then I'm not your Sensei. Ask someone else. Have a nice day. ^_^
